DeVry University 2007-2008 Scholarship Program
In the US and Canada, DeVry offers scholarships to new students who meet specified criteria. For scholarship consideration, students are encouraged to apply for admission as soon as possible.

Scholarships for High School Graduates
Dean's Scholarship
- Amount: $1,500 per semester - Valued up to $13,500
- Audience: High school graduates or GED recipients
- Eligibility:
- ACT - Composite score of 24 or higher - OR
- SAT - Combined math and critical reading/verbal score of 1100 or higher OR
- Canada - Composite CPT of 430 or higher- Canada only
- Place standard on DeVry's placement test within chosen program
- Deadline: One year from high school graduation to apply and start at DeVry

Cisco Networking Academy Scholarship
- Amount: $1,200 per semester - Valued up to $10,800
- Audience: High school graduates and GED recipients
- Eligibility:
- Successfully completed prior to entering DeVry:
- IT Essentials I or CCNA Semester I
- High school graduates must be accepted into and begin studies in one of the following technology degree programs+

Community Scholar Award
- Amount: $1,000 per semester - Valued up to $9,000
- Audience: 2008 high school graduates
- Eligibility:
- Each high school in the country may nominate one student (and one alternate) for the award
- Must be in top 50% of class OR have a CGPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale
- Deadline: Nominations must be received by July 1, 2008 and students have one year from high school graduation to apply and start at DeVry
- Offered in the US & Canada, onsite and online
Banco Popular Dream Scholarship
- Amount: $1,000 per semester - Valued up to $9,000
- Audience: 2008 high school graduates
- Eligibility:
- Must attend one of the approved high schools in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Houston TX, or Chicago IL
- Complete an online form -www.devry.edu/bancopopular
- Minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale at the end of junior year
- Provide letter of recommendation from a member of the community outlining demonstrated community service, volunteerism and leadership skills
- Deadline: One year from high school graduation to apply at DeVry
Must attend the Miramar, FL; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX, North Brunswick, NJ; or Long Island City, NY campus in their state of residency
High School Scholarship Criteria
- In addition to meeting the criteria outlined for each award, students must meet ALL of the following criteria in order to qualify for a DeVry scholarship (additional criteria may be required):
- Student has applied for admission to a full-time degree program at a DeVry location in North America
- Student has met DeVry entrance requirements.
- Student is a US or Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
- Student must begin their studies at DeVry within one calendar year of graduating from high school or community college*, or earning a state-issued GED certificate, depending on type of scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients must attend DeVry in the country in which they are a citizen or permanent resident.
- Recipients are responsible for all other educational expenses.

*Students must graduate from a regionally accredited public two-year college.

- DeVry waives tuition for qualified high school juniors and seniors who take courses at select DeVry campuses. Learn more.
Educator Fellowships
- Full-time faculty and academic administrators at elementary, middle, junior high and high schools; regionally accredited public community or junior colleges; and regionally accredited not-for-profit four-year colleges/universities are eligible for DeVry's educator fellowships. Eligible educators are charged 60% of the prevailing tuition rate toward undergraduate- or graduate-level coursework that can be completed onsite and online. Fellowship applications must be submitted prior to starting classes. Contact the Admissions Office or your DeVry/Keller representative for details. Fellowship terms and conditions are subject to change.
