CareeReality® Workshop

Ideal for local, state and national educator conferences as well as district meetings and teacher in-service days, the CareeReality® workshop was designed to assist educators in helping their students in the career decision-making process using the Four Principles of Student Success.

  1. Predict where the world is headed
  2. Prepare for life after high school
  3. Partner with the community (panel discussion)
  4. Pave the way for student success

Technology is no longer just a career field; it is a skill set required in virtually every field. This workshop explores the global workplace and the myriad of paths that offer continued career growth and success.

CareeReality® examines such areas as:

  1. The continuing impact of technology on the economy and the world around us
  2. Current and future “breakthrough” career fields
  3. New skills and capabilities that will ensure maximum employability
  4. Preparation today for tomorrow's competitive marketplace

Each educator who attends the workshop will receive a valuable resource binder containing information on future career trends, a series of quizzes, interactive activities, case studies, and a host of exercises that they can utilize in their classrooms. Contact your local DeVry campus for details.
